Dre continues to impress with a combination of athleticism, defensive instincts, and long term projection. The Miami commit ran a 6.52 sixty while posting a 97 mph max exit velocity and displaying quality bat speed throughout batting practice. The swing works best when everything stays synced, allowing him to stay through the baseball and create line drive contact from gap to gap. Defensively, Dre was outstanding, showing fluid actions, soft hands, plus range, and the ability to get rid of the baseball quickly from multiple angles. The overall athletic package continues to point toward a high level future.

Hit: RHH. High hands with a tall setup. Creates space to work. Hover move with good lower half timing. Works through the middle of the field and stays through the baseball well. Hands stay in the hitting zone for extended period of time. Could improve launch quickness. Looks very good when synced and on time.
Power: 97 max exit velocity, averaged 88.9 mph. 359' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-90 mph. Gets the ball out quickly with clean arm action and carry across the infield.
Defense: Smooth, fluid mover with good hands and plus range. Shows a high level funnel, good first step, and advanced actions throughout the workout.

Hands work direct to the ball with good lower half use. Stays on plane and works through the middle of the field. Gap to gap line drive approach. Can get around the ball when heavy on the front foot. 73.4 mph bat speed with 19 G's of rotational acceleration.

Arm: RH. INF-86 mph. Throws show carry and come out efficiently. Can throw accurately from different arm angles while maintaining mechanics and staying on line to the target.
Defense: Stays low and keeps moving through the play with controlled, repeatable actions. Athletic mover who maintains rhythm and balance while working through the baseball. Glove and footwork are clean throughout.
