6/27/18 - 6-foot-1, 180 pound frame. Athletic build with apparent strength. Cuenca has always impressed with his combination of speed and strength, and on this day he elevated his prospect status even more recording a personal best 6.66 60-yard dash, a personal best 87 mph infield velocity, and a solid 90 mph exit velocity. The swing is a bit unorthodox with significant stiffness, but he has made some positive refinements and it seems to work for him. Defensively profiles best at third base where he is now choosing to work out. Short, quick steps leading into fielding position. Replaces feet and plays through the ball well. Short, compact arm action and showed the ability to throw from all angles.

5/19/18 - He has shown solid tools at prior events and continues to intrigue, posting a 6.84 60-yard dash and 90 mph exit velocity. There's some stiffness at the plate and his hand load could be cleaned up some, but the combination of athleticism and present strength can certainly help a college program.
1/28/18 - 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame. Looks heavier and more physical than listed size; shows lots of present strength. Has some rigidity to his game, but turned in impressive 6.89 60-yard dash and mashed a ball off the wall in live game action. Has a busy hand load, taking his hands forward significantly before jerking them back into a deep loaded position. Cuenca the transfers all of his weight out over his front side, while hitting from a wide base. May have one of those swings that looks cleaner against live pitching than in BP as it appears there’s definite bat-to-ball ability to go along with the raw power; 88 mph exit velocity. Infield actions profile best to 3B as again there’s some rigidity but he made all the plays and shows workable hands and an accurate arm; 81 mph infield velo.
