Uses a toe tap stride that gets him in a strong and balanced position to hit. Holds his ground well with little head movement. Loose grip on the bat with an inside path to the baseball. Barrel gains extension through the zone, even when out front and the body is not in a good position, the hands are still able to hold the line and stay on the ball. Consistent quality ABs with high rate of contact. Majority of contact is to the top half. (Defense) (IF) RH. IF velo 78. Stays low while fielding, gets his eyes in a good position to read hops. Quick first step, good mental time clock. High IQ infielder. Hands are soft, glove has some give into the body while fielding. Moves laterally well and has the ability to throw from various slots. Profiles as 2B, ability to play SS from now.
