10/10/18 - Stocky 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame. King closes himself off some, working across his body and repeats the deceptive delivery very well. Fastball sat 77-78 mph, flashing sinking action. Big-time strike thrower, who works fast, pitches with noticeable confidence and commands the bottom of the zone. Showed ability to throw his 67-68 mph curveball and 71 mph changeup in the zone consistently. Upper body gets down the mound quickly, almost ahead of his lower half at times, causing late separation and arm drag. That combined with inefficient glove side mechanics may mean the stuff could tick up a notch with some delivery adjustments.
