3-14-2018: 5’9”/165, S/R, Sophomore. Plays with a bounce in his step, and showcases twitchy, confident hands on the infield. Quick transfer to the throwing hand, but arm plays longer with average to below strength. Stays within himself at the plate, and had quality at-bats from both sides of the plate. Limits his stride. Hands cast away from the body, some, but they have enough quickness to pull in and work directly on a flat path through the zone. Barrels the ball up consistently with gap to gap, line drive power. Hands start higher when hitting from the right side, and lower with wide elbows when hitting from the left side. Went 4.5 down the line on a hard turn. Gamer-type who demonstrates advanced feel for the game.

8-20-2018: Five-foot-nine, 160 pounds. Sure-handed infielder who plays the game with a smooth, relaxed demeanor. Saw time at shortstop this summer but profiles best to second base due to fringe arm strength. Switch hitter. Loose actions from both sides of the plate. Shows a contact approach with hands working quickly to the ball. Hits to all parts of the field. Not much lift in swing from either side. 4.31 down the line from the right side. Fits the “gamer” type of mold. No standout tools but provides reliable defense and consistent, quality at-bats. (D Jurik)
