1/27/19 – 5’9 160-pound frame. Plays above what numbers would indicate. Simple, balanced set up without much movement. Hands work back with slight rocking back in lower half for load. Works in the zone for a long time. As lower half gets more involved, ball will start jumping. Effortless swing with exit velo at 83 MPH. Works around the baseball well. Momentum while fielding the baseball help his 74 MPH arm strength play up. Short footwork allows for quick release. 

6/6/18 - 5-foot-9, 160-pound frame. Rice isn't a physical wow type prospect, but has impressive instincts and advanced feel for the game. Really battles in the box from the left side where he uses a simple, efficient swing that allows him to put the bat on the ball consistently; 77 mph exit velocity. Showed the type of actions on the infield to profile up the middle, with second base likely being the better fit at the next level due to arm strength. Also turned in a solid 7.14 60-yard dash.
