Densmore

10/10/18 - 5-foot-10, 145-pound frame. Densmore is a pure strike thrower with a repeatable delivery and advanced pitchability. Has started to develop physically and made a significant velocity jump since we saw him with a low-70’s fastball in June. Fastball sat 76-77 mph, also showing a 67-71 mph slider, out of the same slot and tunnel. Flashes a developing changeup at 71 mph that appears to be held very deep in his hand. Body is still very young and Densmore really has a chance with continued physical development which has begun to come.

6/27/18 - 5-9, 145-pound frame. Significant room to add strength and size to be very physically immature body. Strides open some, clean hand-driven arm action, ¾ release. Low effort delivery that he repeats well. Fastball has ticked up some, now sitting 72-75 mph with arm side life. Had feel for his curveball at 61-67 mph that featured consistent 1/7 shape. Change up was thrown with fastball arm speed at 70 mph with fade. Physical maturation and added strength should help Densmore’s velocity continue to climb.

5/20/18 - Very physically immature 5-foot-9, 145-pound frame. Simple, compact delivery with some shoulder tilt, getting on top of the baseball quickly on the back side. Showed ability to command three pitches in the strike zone, with his fastball sitting 71-73 mph. The curveball had 1-7 shape and consistent rotation with the ability to throw it both in and below the zone. Changeup sat 66-68 mph with fastball arm speed.
