6/23/20

6-foot 170-pounds, athletically-built, lean body, fast twitch movements. Good athlete, running a 6.82 60-yard dash, ran twice with almost exact times. Sets up in a squared stance with feet shoulder width apart. Some rawness to approach with upper body dominant swing at times. Uses a toe tap trigger, opening up lower half early. Above average bat & hand speed. More power potential, learning to sequence body & athleticism to his advantage. 88mph exit velocity with mid/opp approach. Speed & athleticism in the OF. Developing rhythm & momentum. Stabs with his glove. Throws from a lower slot at 75mph arm strength. High upside athlete who should be followed.

6/6/18 - 5-foot-8, 145-pound frame. Open stance with weight preset onto back leg. Hands remain close to head during a short stride resulting in minimal separation. Gets on plate early, high one handed finish. Moore possesses quick hands and some bat speed, so if he can learn to load/unload better, he should be able to hit the ball with more authority; 73 mph exit velocity. Middle infield defensive profile. Solid footwork, hands, and rhythm. Explosive lateral movement yields impressive range to both side. Excellent body control on the run; 72 mph infield velocity. Posted impressive 6.90 60-yard dash.

5/20/18 - 5-foot-8, 145-pound frame with some present strength and development in upper body. Moore turned in the top 60-yard dash time of any underclassmen in attendance with a 7.00 and shows the type of athleticism that makes him an intriguing prospect.  His swing is a tad long currently, as he tends to drag the barrel through the zone and his 77 mph exit velo is not indicative of his present strength level. The swing path will continue to refine itself and with continued physical development we could be looking at an interesting 2B or OF prospect down the road. Currently lists himself as a primary 2B, where he tends to field the ball somewhat deep at times, but may profile better to LF down the line where his speed will play.
