1/27/19 – Uncommitted. 6’1 155-pound frame. Works at a straight over the top arm slot. Creates good downhill plane, high glove side arm. Fastball has occasional late cut to his glove side at 80-81 MPH. 12-6 curveball with depth at 69-71 MPH. Lower half gets caught up and stays blocked off from rotating up and over front leg. Will get more extension and velo as lower half gets through and finishes.
Starts hands above shoulder and keeps them high until they start down into the zone. Rocks into back side, while getting bat angle back towards catcher. Gets into zone early and works up to the baseball to match pitch plane. Pull approach with upright stance at contact. Exit velo at 81 MPH. Active feet in the infield, up until fielding the baseball. Does a good job getting middle to left. Throws at 82 MPH across the infield.
