Another one of the younger players on the Pro Tour that had an immediate impact was 2026 SS Luke Laird. The 5-foot-9, 165-pound LHH has one of the top hit tools in his class on the West Coast. There’s plenty of bat speed and bat-to-ball that allows Laird to sit back and use the entire field if needed. Despite the smaller stature, there’s gap-to-gap power and with the ability to run well, he’s also a threat on the bases. The underclassman will be a name to follow in the coming years as he continues to add strength and develop.
