Murphy is a 5-foot-10, 165-pound, right-handed hitting middle infield prospect and right-handed pitcher in the 2022 class. At the event, he ran a 7.56 second 60, and posted and exit velocity of 82 mph. During hitting evaluations, starts balanced, reverse toe tap to load, in line stride, quiet hands, level bat path, remains balanced throughout swing. Defensively, aggressive to the baseball, clean transfers, long arm action, high three-quarter release, positional velocity of 70 mph, fairly accurate throws. Works quickly on the mound from a drop and drive motion and over the top arm slot. Arm speed stays consistent. Fastball was 75-80 mph with good command and location. He was able to throw a 63-65 mph curve with 11/5 shape in any count for a strike.
