5-foot-10, 160-pound OF, has an average athletic build, has some fast twitch actions in him. James hits from a balanced stance with not much movement. Hands are shoulder height, the barrel gets to the ball quick and has a little lift after contact. Serious pop/juice in his hands. The ball comes off the bat as well as I’ve seen in a long time. James blasted balls to both gaps, the tee exit velocity was 86. Tracked balls well in outfield, jumps looked good, showed an average to a tick above arm from right field. The throws had good carry and were on point. Showed good speed from home to first, 4.29 runner, is a very short strider which looked awkward but he got down the line ok. During the game had multiple hits, went and tracked balls well in live situations. Played hard and looked to take the extra base. This kid has a serious chance.
