5-foot-10, 175-pound, average athletic frame. The hands and wrists have strength to them, feet show to have quickness. A right-handed hitting catcher, at the plate the stance is balanced throughout. The feet are slightly wider than shoulder width, front foot is slightly open and hands are loose and relaxed. For timing uses a simple controlled stride, gains ground, gets and keeps weight back. The swing is level across his chest, keeps the hands inside the baseball with good extension out front. The approach is to both fields, looking to spray line drives, the tee exit velocity was clocked at 77 mph, with more in there as he gains strength. Defensively, is advanced on the receiving side. The setup is wide and even, looks to be relaxed, hands are super soft, can handle all pitches and keeps them in the strike zone. The transfer is simple and on time, feet are quick and get inline. The arm action is short from his ear, works out of a ¾ slot, clocked at 64 mph. Handled all pitchers and pitches well during bullpen sessions, pitchers looked to be comfortable throwing to him. Interesting catcher, looks like he loves to be behind the plate and works at it, continued long throw and arm strengthening is a must.
