Alex Salley: RHP/1B, (2026) Ridgefield, CT. 6-foot-1, 150-pound lean athletic build. Raw at the plate, Salley had an exit velocity of 81 mph. (58.1 mph bat speed average). (16.6 mph hand speed average). Begins in a tall open stance with a handsy load, then uses a short stride. Has a level rotational swing plane, average bat speed and good extension on his finish. Created some loud contact and found some barrels. Pull side approach. Clocked a time of 7.98 in the 60-yard dash. Raw projectable on the mound, showed developing arm speed with a loose arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Feel tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses easy effort. Has a low balance point with in line shoulders. Lands soft and square with upright finish. Sat with his fastball at 69-70 mph. had both sides of the plate control. (Max spin 1965; Avg 1872). Showed early slurvey action and glove side command on his 1/7 curveball (64-65). (Max spin 2263; Avg 2025). Has arm side control and fading action on his changeup (66-69).
