5-foot-6, 145-pound, strong, smaller athletic frame. The hands and lower half have strength to them. The feet are quick and has a good first step from side to side. Steele had a very good workout and was impressive on both sides of the field. A right-handed hitter, the lower half is even and slightly wider than shoulder width, is balanced throughout. The hands are set just above the shoulders and the bat is in a good loaded position, with hands being loose. The path is level across the chest, to a one handed finish, approach is middle of the field. The tee exit velocity was 84 mph, both rounds of BP were very good. Time down the line was good at 4.38. In game swings were very good, hit a towering double to deep left and made solid contact in two other at bats. Defensively, can play either side of the bag, is better suited for second base.
