Andy had a tremendous workout. At 5-foot-7, 150-pounds the frame is small, but shows to have some strength and is very quick. Plays the game at a very fast pace, mechanically very sound. In the field, prep steps are good, fields the ball out front, gather and transfer into throwing position is sound, gets the arm up above shoulder. The feet and hands work well together, the arm strength registered at 74 mph. The pro move and backhanded plays were well above average and that’s what sold me on him, will defend at a high level at second base. At the plate, he hits from the right side, the stance is slightly open, hands start in a good hitting position. The path to the ball is ok, could get the hands back a bit more, nothing he can't fix with reps and coaching. Shows to have a little pop to pull side, needs to stay through the ball more. The tee exit velocity was 82 mph and ran a 6.85 60-yard dash, can really move. The future is bright, has some tools to work with, looks like he loves to compete and comes from one of the best programs in the state. Definite follow for me.
