Angel Fonseca: SS/2B, (2024) Kolbe Cathedral, CT. 5-foot-10, 160-pound athletic projectable build. (66.1 mph bat speed average). (20.6 mph hand speed average). Starts in a quiet stance with a tight load, then uses a controlled stride. Has an uphill swing plane, explosive bat speed and balanced finish. Was able to create loud contact and found lots of barrels. Base hit approach. Capable in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 79 mph; has quick feet, soft hands, and a clean exchange. Laterally, movements were twitchy and fielded the ball to the side. Showed decent accuracy to the base with a quick arm action and uninterrupted slot. (Max spin ; Avg ).
