Armando Quito: OF/RHP, (2025) WestHill, CT. 5-foot-8, 145-pound athletic strong build. Above average at the plate, Quito's 85 mph exit velocity ranks him 3rd at the event. Begins in a wide open stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then uses a controlled leg kick. Had a short level swing plane, electric bat speed and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with tons of loud contacts. Gap to gap line drive approach. Above average from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 75 mph; had athletic aggressive footwork, a quick twitchy exchange, and soft hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a longer arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.29. Projectable on the mound, showed quick arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a longer arm action. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 73-76 mph; shows both sides of the plate control and sinking action. (Max spin 2048; Avg 1901).
