5-foot-10, 175-pound strong solid frame. Above average in the box, Aylward recorded an exit velocity of 87 mph. (67.25 mph bat speed average). (21.20 mph hand speed average). Started in an athletic quiet stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a short controlled stride. Bat speed is quick, displays a short upward swing plane and high good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. While catching, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 68 mph; has a clean natural transfer, soft consistent hands, and quick in control feet. had consistent pop times of 2.25-2.31. Some flexibility and quiet wide setup. Used a short loose arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.87.

5-foot-10, 175-pound solid frame. Athletic during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 88 mph. Begins in a balanced stance with a small load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed was above average, showed an upward swing plane and high finish. Found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Gap to gap approach, hands are short to the baseball. Laterally, his movements were  above average, quick to get down and block. Behind the plate, throw downs to second were maxed at 68 mph; had a clean exchange, quick footwork, and soft hands. Recorded pop times of 2.00-2.09. Athletic setup with some flexibility. Used a short arm action and a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the base.
