6-foot-4, 175 pound,SS/RHP, has a long, lengthy build with lots of room to add mass. As a defender hands are extremely soft and loose, tends to catch ball close to body but with hands so soft can get away with it. This will be an easy fix once he gets to the next level. The transfer is clean, catches and throws all in one motion, does a great job of keeping his feet moving towards his target. In my opinion the arm is the most intriguing part of his game. The arm is clean and works free, ball comes out of his hand well, as his gets stronger and plays against better competition it should take off. Off the bump mechanically it's a very simple and repeatable motion. The slot is ¾ with a little sink and lives at the knees. The fastball is 81-83, curveball has ok spin, gets on the side of it at times, throws it at 70-72, change up is good pitch, sells it well with fastball arm speed. Offensively hits from a bit wider stance has a good path to the ball and is level through the zone, strength and bat speed are a must for him if he wants to hit at the next level. Ronai is an average runner, but the instincts and the ability to know the game are things you can't teach. Currently is getting recruited by Dartmouth, Holy Cross, Yale, Bates, Trinity, Williams, Brown.
