7/01/20

5-foot-10, 165-pound, average athletic frame, sloped shoulders, a well proportioned athlete. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, defensively, good feet, move throughout, gets around the baseball with momentum towards target. The glove is soft, fields out front, working low to the ground. The arm is clean coming through from a natural slot, clocked at 79 mph, with plenty of flight and carry to all throws. The footwork and actions around the bag are advanced, good starts and turns on the double play ball. At the plate, hands loose, with pre-pitch movement to them, showing a controlled leg kick, gaining ground. The hands are short to the baseball, level to up path, is extremely balanced, with an all fields approach. The exit velocity was clocked at 77 mph, ran a 7.53 sixty-yard dash.  A high defender, will be a good one at the next level.

10/26/19

5-foot-8, 155-pound, average athletic frame, squared off shoulders, well proportioned. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, can play on either side of the bag. Defensively, advanced, soft hands, easy quick transfer with carry to throws. The arm action is clean, working out of a natural slot, arm was clocked at 75 mph. Feeds and turns were clean and on time, defensive ability could be a weapon on the second base side. Offensively, wider setup, with higher hands. Small controlled leg kick for timing, adding power to the swing. The hands work through the hitting zone, could let the baseball travel a tick longer. The path is level to up, more of middle to pull approach, tee exit velocity was clocked at 78 mph and ran a 7.13 sixty-yard dash. Moves well, athletic actions and movements. Need to see him multiple times, has feel and game.

7/24/19

5-foot-8, 145-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a 4.58 home to first at the event. The actions in the infield are appropriate and athletic. The glove and hands are soft, and the feet remain active throughout the process. Threw 72 mph across the diamond at the event. Looks to profile more as a second baseman at the next level. The bat has a tee of exit velocity of 75 mph, as physical strength gains are imperative to the process. The setup is even in base, the bottom half stays under control throughout the swing. The hands work very well to and through the ball. The path is flat through the zone and he stays in his legs. Made solid contact throughout the day.

8/23/18

5-foot-7, 135-pound, smaller, athletic frame. Shows to have strength for his age and size, shoulders are square with room for added weight. Showed very well on both sides of the field. Defensively, can play on both sides up the middle. The prep steps and overall footwork is advance, gets around the baseball with momentum moving towards his targets. Fields out front, working low to the ground, hands are super soft on the catch. The arm is clean, works from a ¾ slot, clocked at 68 mph, needs strength should climb with physical strength. The starts and feeds were performed correct, smooth with good rhythm. At the plate, hits from the right side, feet are even at shoulder width, hands are relaxed at the shoulders. The swing is short is to contact, path is down to level, finishes with two-hands at shoulder height. The barrel could stick in the zone a tick longer, that will come over time.  The approach was more line drive to the pull side. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 68 mph and ran a 8.13 sixty-yard dash. Good looking young player, chance to be a high defender.
