6-foot-2, 181-pound long and lengthy athletic body, has a ton of room to put weight on. Showed very well off the mound. This right-handed pitcher throws from a natural ¾ slot, with good arm side sink and run. The ball comes out of his hand free and easy, direction is very sound. Was able to locate fastball to both sides of the plate. Curveball had proper spin and real good depth on it. The velocity was 69-71. Changeup was his best pitch, sold it well with his entire body and kept the same arm speed the same. The changeup was 73-74, is a big time pitch. Showed he had the ability to pitch quick to the plate while keeping his velocity and control. At the plate, he hits from wide base and throws his hands well to the ball. The tee exit velocity was 94, the path to the ball was good. Showed well in game, gathering a few hits, runs ok for a big kid, was 4.6. Somebody is going to get a good one, look for the velocity to take a jump sometime soon, pitchability is at a very high level.
