The stride is straight, could be lengthened slightly more and get more out of the back side. The arm action is long, loose, clean and is free throughout the path. The changeup is an above average pitch for his age, sells it well with good arm speed, clocked at 72 mph, throw in any count. The breaking ball has slurve break to it, again thrown for multiple strikes, clocked at 63-66 mph, needs to be thrown harder. A three pitch pitcher, showed very good presence on the mound. Offensively, hits from the right side, the stance is taller, open to even with feet, the lower half is under control and gains ground with stride. The hands are loose, start close and below the shoulder, get back into a good hitting position, path is level to up and finishes with two hands. The tee exit velocity was 81 mph, look for this to jump with added strength. During game had a good swing on a line drive to center. Defensively, plays first, feet are good around the bag, hands are soft, flips ball from glove to hand, needs to go get it with throwing hand. The arm was clocked at 75 mph across the diamond.
