6/24/21

5-foot-7, 140-pound athletic lean frame. Above average at the plate, Magzag clocked an exit velocity of 87 mph. (66.60 mph bat speed average). (22.81 mph hand speed average). Starts in a wide athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a short stride. Had electric bat speed, short level swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. In the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 81mph. Above average in the infield, displayed a velocity of 78 mph; showed quick fluid feet, soft hands, and a twitchy exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a short arm action and a high ¾ slot.During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.06.

Exit Velocity: 87 mph

Arm Velocity:  78 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.06

8/13/20

5-foot-7, 140-pounds, smaller, thin, wiry strength, showing good strength for his size, twitchy actions. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, showed really good legs and quickness, ran a quick 6.91 sixty-yard dash. At the plate, even stance, higher hand set, simple stroke, controlled lower half. The swing works, hands are inside the baseball, line drive approach to the middle of the field, swing is short and compact to contact. The exit velocity was clocked at 84 mph, with more in there as he continues to add strength. Defensively, approach is under control, working low and out front. The arm action is clean, short and crisp on the backside, from a natural slot, clocked at 79 mph. Showed real good feel and timing on the slow roller play. Turned it well from both sides, projects out to be an offensive speedster from second base side.

Exit Velocity: 84 mph

Arm Velocity: 79 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 6.91
