5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitting first baseman and catcher. Ran a 4.99 down the line on his dig to first base at the event. Threw 75 mph across the diamond at the workout. The feet and glove are solid around the first base bag. He did not workout at catcher but caught in the game, showed tremendous feel for receiving. The securing of the catch is very well done. Improving arm strength and foot work behind the dish will help him advance. The bat had a tee exit velocity of 73 mph, physical strength gains are needed. The set up is wide in base, no movement on the bottom half as the swing is produced. The path is flat and long to contact, solid ability to spread the ball in batting practice.
