Cody Heselton: LHP/OF, (2024) Glastonbury, CT. 5-foot-10, 180-pound athletic lean frame. Above average on the mound, using a loose quick arm action he showed lightning arm speed from a ¾ arm angle. Stretch only up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. In line shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 80-83 mph; shows sinking action and arm side command with heavy movement. (Max spin 1967; Avg 1870). Showed glove side command and late slurvey action on his 11/5 curveball (70-72). (Max spin 1862; Avg 1833). Shows fading swing and miss action and arm side command on his changeup (74-75). Love the projection, major feel around the mound.
