5-foot-11, 155-pound, long, lean athletic frame. Longer neck, rounded shoulders, has plenty of room to fill out, add weight and mass on. A right-handed hitting catcher, showed extremely well on both sides of the field. Defensively, threw 71 mph, with a pop time of 2.06. All throws were down hill with carry, on or close to the bag. Moves very well behind the plate, low to the ground, slight quarter turn on the catch, in position to transfer, good athletic movements. The hands are strong on the catch, keeps strikes in the zone, works hard on the low pitch. Offensively, wider setup, slightly open, hands are set at the shoulders, tilted bat. The lower half is under control, easy rock back with weight, simple pick up and put down with stride foot. The swing is short to contact, level path through contact, finishing higher with two hands. The approach is more line drive, staying in the middle of the field. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 76 mph, ran a 7.60 sixty-yard dash, plays faster than times. Look for him to jump soon, good bloodlines, was in football shape during event.
