5-foot-9, 170 pounds, physical maturation present, strong lower half. Johnson showed the type of speed to make him an above average defensive player across all three outfield positions. He can cover plenty of ground, and took great routes to the ball, with a polished transition from fielding, to crow hop, to throw. Throws hovered around 80-81 MPH, did a nice job of getting his body into throws and kept them on a line at the bag. Offensively, he topped out his exit velocity in the cage at 87 MPH. Johnson uses a major leg kick to help get his body into the swing, as the lead leg rises then drives out as the wrist load up. There is slight loft in the swing helping him drive singles and doubles to all fields. Johnson has a well rounded game. Defense is his best trait and the bat is adequate for a shot at the collegiate level.

5-foot-9, 170-pound, strong, athletic frame. The hands and legs, have strength and quickness to them, ran a solid 6.90 sixty-yard dash. A right-handed hitter is balanced throughout, the feet are even at shoulder width, hands are loose set at shoulder height. The lower half is under control, has an easy smooth leg raise, gains ground with hit, uses the entire baseball to hit. The hands are loose, start at shoulder height, bat has some tilt to it, gets very good separation with hands from the body. The swing is level across his chest, stays through the ball well, gets extension out front, keeps the barrel in the zone a long time. The approach was middle to opposite, took two solid rounds of BP, peppering the back wall. Defensively, attacks the baseball well, feet are on time, steps through hard, gains ground towards his target and has momentum into his throws. The arm action has average length to it, it's clean on the back side, arm path is down to up, arm works out of a high ¾ slot, throws were downhill and on a line, arm was clocked at 81 mph. Solid follow, competes at a very high level, get out and see him.
Sixty-Yard Dash: 6.9
