Cooper Lamb: SS/RHP, (2026) The Loomis Chaffee School, CT. 5-foot-8, 140-pound athletic proportional frame. Projectable advanced at the plate, Lamb had an exit velocity of 81 mph. (64.1 mph bat speed average). (19.7 mph hand speed average). Started in an athletic tall stance with a rhythmic load, then used a controlled leg kick. Bat speed was quick, used a loose upward swing plane and high finish. Was able to create tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Above average advanced while in the infield, made throws up to 77 mph; has athletic feet, a twitchy exchange, and next level hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a high ¾ slot and a short arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Above average on the mound, used a loose arm action and a ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows easy effort. Showed strong balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 74-77 mph; shows sinking action and arm side command. (Max spin 1641; Avg 1413). Shows glove side command and slurvey action on his 1/7 curveball (58-61). (Max spin 1953; Avg 1895). His changeup (66-68) had fading action and arm side command.
