Daniel Gantert: C/2B, (2022) out of New Fairfield, CT. is an athletic 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect. In the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 90 MPH, with a  (68.22 mph bat speed average) and (23.32 mph hand speed average). Gantert started in a balanced, wide stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. He loads well to the back side before taking a loose, uphill path through contact. He showed good hands and a quick bat during his round as well. In the infield, he was 78 MPH on his throws across the diamond. As he worked through the ground balls, he showed sure hands, consistent feet and a clean exchange. Behind the plate, throw downs to second reached 76 MPH with a pop time range of 1.98-2.01. His initial set up is athletic. The feet are square, his glove is relaxed and the head is up. As he transitioned to throw, he showed he had soft developing hands, a clean natural transfer, and consistent developing footwork. He also recorded a time of 7.26 in the 60-yard dash.

5-foot-11, 172-pound mature, physical, already filling out, shows strength throughout.  Above average during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 89 mph. Started in a wide athletic stance with a quick load, then used a toe tap. Bat speed was explosive, showed an upward swing plane and high finish. Created tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach.Behind the plate, he produced a position velocity of 78 mph during throw downs; has quick fluid feet, soft hands, and a twitchy exchange.had quick feet and transfers on his throw downs, recording a 1.90-2.03 pop time. Wide setup with tons of flexibility. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot and a short arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.25.  Powerful, brings value, can play the outfield as well.

5-foot-11, 172-pound, strong, solid athletic frame. Put together well, showing twitchiness to him. A right-handed hitting catcher, swung the bat extremely well at this event. At the plate, starts slightly open, hands are at the shoulders, more of a vertical setup. For timing uses a toe-tap, gaining ground, backside has drive. The hands are strong, swing path is level through the zone, approach is more middle to pull side. The exit velocity was clocked at 88 mph, collected multiple hits in gam play including 2 home runs. Defensively, the hands are very strong on the catch, keeps strikes in the zone, is super athletic and moves very well behind the plate. Right foot replaces left in transfer, closes down the front side. The arm action is super clean and loose, working from a  3/4 slot. The arm was clocked at 75 mph and had a pop time of 2.04-2.10. A big time sleeper, need to see him at some point.

5-foot-11, 167-pound, super athletic, strong athletic frame, already filling out, showing strength throughout. A right-handed hitting catcher, worked out in the infield as well. Behind the plate, arm is super quick, clocked at 77 mph, comes out real well, on a line flight, with carry, had a pop time of 2.09-2.12. The feet are fast in transfer, gains ground and is balanced. The set up is athletic, wider feet, gets behind the baseball on the catch and secures the pitch. In the infield, quick bounce for the prep steps. The flow is advanced, moves through he baseball. The arm was clocked at 78 mph. At the plate, open to even setup with feet, hands are at the shoulders, are quiet, bat starting in a flat position. The swing is level to up, rolls the hands late, approach is from gap to gap. Can handle and maneuver the barrel to the baseball. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 88 mph, baseball jumps off the bat. Is a 7.31 runner. Big follow for me.

5-foot-11, 167-pound right-handed hitting catcher and infielder. Ran a 7.81 sixty on the laser at the event. Threw 75 mph from behind the dish as the feet work and the transfer needs to continue to improve. The pop time was 2.0. The receiving needs to continue to progress, softening and securing the catch needs to progress as he matures in age. In the infield, threw 75 mph as the feet need to remain active during the approach to the ground ball. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 84 mph. The setup is open to start, front foot closes down as the ball approaches. The bat path is uphill as he produces top spin on the ball at contact. Uses a 1-handed finish after contact.

The hands are loose at set below the shoulders, lower half is under control, uses a knee to knee kick. The swing is short to contact stays through it, and finishes high with one hand. The approach is more middle of the field, had a tee exit velocity of 86 mph, shows to have strength and pop in the hands. Defensively, had a pop time of 2.10. The arm was clocked at 75 mph, good strength, arm works form a higher slot throwing down hill. The feet are quick in transfer, hands are strong on the catch. From the infield, threw 75 mph as well, short higher slot. The feet are good, gains ground, with good flow and actions. Solid follow, one of the better players in the class of 2022

5-foot-9, 143-pound, smaller, strong, athletic frame. The shoulders are rounded, has room for added weight and mass. A right-handed hitting catcher, the stance is shorter, taller, front foot starts open, hands held at shoulder height. The lower half is under control, uses a toe tap, for timing. The swing is short to contact, level through the zone, and finishes high with one hand. The approach is more to the pull side, the second round of batting practice was very good. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 81 mph and ran a 7.65 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, had a pop time of 2.22-2.34 and arm was clocked at 72 mph down to to second base. The arm action is short, throws from his ear, shows to have good strength for his age. The setup behind the plate is even and wider, hands are soft on the catch, closes down on the transfer. The arm was clocked at 72 mph as well from shortstop.  Moved well to both sides keeping momentum moving towards target, the hands were soft on the catch, with a short clean transfer.
