5-foot-10, 155-pound, thin, average athletic frame, has wiry strength to him, is an athlete, with plenty of room to fill out and to add weight on. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, better suited for second base or maybe a move to the outfield at some point. At the plate, the swing is advanced and shows the ability to maneuver the barrel to the baseball on a consistent basis. The setup is relaxed, balanced throughout, feet are even at shoulder width and hands are set loose at shoulder height. The swing is short to the baseball, path is down to level to up, and finishes with two hands at shoulder height. The separation is minimal uses a small controlled leg kick for timing. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 73 mph, barrel has life to it. Ran a 3.93 30 yard-dash. Defensively, has good prep steps, could work lower and out front more. Feet are quick and work well, arm works out of a ¾ slot, more of a flick throwing action, arm was clocked at 67 mph, could get longer on the backside with more extension out front, should help in more velocity. Love the ability to handle the bat, with leg speed, high follow for me, strength is amust, will aid in development.
