Elliot Nerenberg: LHP/1B, (2027) Westhill, CT. 5-foot-10, 145-pound athletic proportional build. Projectable at the plate, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 74 mph. (61.3 mph bat speed average). (21.4 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a short controlled stride. Had quick bat speed, loose level swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up multiple balls with tons of loud contact. Up the middle line drive approach. Projectable in the infield, his best throw was registered at 57 mph; shows developing feet, soft hands, and a natural exchange. Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball out front. From a ¾ slot, showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a loose arm action. Recorded a time of 9.17 in the 60-yard dash. Projectable on the mound, showing consistent arm speed he had a longer arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Stretch only type pitcher and shows easy effort. Balance is tall point with an in line shoulders in his delivery. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 57-60 mph; shows sinking action and arm side command. (Max spin 1764; Avg 1674). His slider (56-57) had glove side command and slight action. (Max spin 1649; Avg 1588). His splitter (55-56) has down in the zone control and deceiving action.
