5-foot-8, 120-pound two-way prospect. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 71 mph with a (57.7 mph bat speed average) and (18.0 mph hand speed average). He begins in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. A controlled stride initiates a simple, flat swing with good extension. During his rounds, Polce showed the ability to use the middle of the field and remain balanced. In the infield, Polce was up to 66 mph on his throws across the diamond, while demonstrating he has sure hands, a clean exchange, and consistent, smooth feet. From the outfield, his throws were 69 mph to the bases, while showing he has smooth feet, sure hands, and a clean exchange. Behind the plate, he was 63 mph during throw downs with a clean transfer, consistent, smooth feet, and sure hands. On the mound, Polce used a long, high ¾ arm slot to produce a fastball that sits 61-65 mph (Max spin 1716; Avg 1604) with some arm side run. The delivery is simple, easy and in line with home plate.
