We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2022 Scout Day: CT Capitals. This was a great opportunity for 2023-2025 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories.

2022 Scout Day: CT Capitals - Quick Hits
The Bats
- Jack Kane, 2024- A right-handed hitter, higher hand set, level path, very good pop to pull side, had an exit velocity of 88 mph. Defensively, clean actions with arm strength at 75 mph.
- Camden Righi, 2025- A left-handed hitter, smooth, clean swing with above average pop, exit velocity up to 95 mph. Serious potential to hit with power. Behind the plate, quick feet, fast arm at 77 mph. Big time follow, potential draft pick down the road.
- Dylan Roy, 2024- A right-handed hitter, flat, powerful swing, hard contact. Exit velocity of 93 mph, middle to pull side approach. Showed good flow and actions in infield, arm at 78 mph. Old school type ball player.
- Jack Timko, 2025- A right-handed catcher, short quick stroke, hands are inside the baseball, an advanced approach, exit velocity of 90 mph. Good looking hitter for a 2025.
- Brandon Gaer, 2023- A right-handed hitting catcher, had one of the better performances, exit velocity up to 94 mph. Showed good arm strength at 74 mph from behind the plate, 82 mph.
- Ethan Rainha, 2023- A left-handed hitter, short, quick, clean stroke. A gap to gap approach, exit velocity of 91 mph. Arm strength at 81 mph from outfield, clean quick release.
- Cameron Denalsky, 2025- A right-handed hitter, swing is short and crisp, hands inside the baseball, middle to opposite approach.
- Eli Fangiullo, 2024- A left-handed hitter, shows an advanced approach. The path is super clean, level to up, creates backspin, with easy lift, exit of 90 mph.
- Joel Nazario, 2024- A toolsy, super athletic right-handed hitter, electric bat speed at 93 mph, the barrel has whip and life to it. The arm is fast and quick, up to 82 mph.
The Arms
- Nathan Acabchuk, 2023- A right-handed pitcher, arm action is short and quick, it’s clean and works with minimal effort. The fastball reached 83 mph, with action to armside. The breaking ball has some velocity at 69 mph.
- Fayz Baig, 2025- A left-handed pitcher, ¾ slot, long and whippy, fastball up to 84 mph, located to both sides. Sweeping breaking ball has late action. Good looking young arm.
- Blake Beattie, 2023- A right-handed pitcher, working from set position, arm is loose and clean, working from a high ¾ slot. The fastball reached 86 mph, with more in there. Mixed in both secondary pitches for strikes.
- Jayden Dombrowski, 2023- A left-handed pitcher, arm works from a lower slot, sink and run to the fastball, clocked at 77 mph. Showed a sweeping slider, looks to be tough on left-handed hitters.
- Ethan Hunt, 2024- A big bodied right-handed pitcher, arm works out of a natural ¾ slot, loose and free, fastball at 81 mph, with a ton more in there. Pounded a true curveball for strikes.
- Salvador Ortiz, 2024- A long and loose right-handed pitcher, fastball touched 80 mph, works from a higher clean slot. The arm has a chance to be powerful, lots of projections.
- Joseph Stawski, 2023- A right-handed pitcher, arm action is clean, loose, working with minimal effort. The fastball sat at 84 mph, mixed in a late breaking hard slider.
