6-foot-1, 185-pound two-way prospect. During batting practice, Beattie showed athleticism with his swing and recorded an impressive exit velocity of 92 MPH with a (70.2 mph bat speed average) and (21.5 mph hand speed average). He started in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. A controlled load triggers a swing that takes a simple, flat path through the hitting zone. During his rounds, he showcased his quick hands and simple approach. In the infield, Beattie was 78 MPH on his throws across the diamond, while also displaying consistent, smooth feet, a clean exchange, and sure hands. He fields the ball out front and uses a long, high ¾ slot to work the ball across the diamond. On the mound, Beattie uses a quick arm to produce a late sinking fastball that sits 81-86 MPH(Max spin 2263; Avg 2090). The delivery is easy, clean and balanced. He gets to a good position at the top before heading down the mound in line with the plate. He lands square and finishes over his front leg. Beattie also featured a tight 12/6 curveball (69-72 MPH)(Max spin 2026; Avg 1882) and a changeup (74-75 MPH) with late sinking action.

6-foot-1, 175-pound athletic projectable frame. Above average at the plate, Beattie had a max exit velocity of 91 mph. (65.71 mph bat speed average). (20.46 mph hand speed average). Started in a wide athletic stance with a smooth small load, then used a small quick stride. Bat speed is quick, uses a short upward swing plane and high good extension on his finish. Was able to create tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap up the middle approach. Advanced in the infield, displayed a velocity of 82 mph; shows next level hands, quick fluid feet, and a clean natural exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Used a ¾ slot with a short loose arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Recorded a 60 time of 7.67 at the event. Projectable on the mound, used a loose short arm action and a ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses easy effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square. Sat with his fastball at 79-81 mph; had running sinking action and consistent command. (Max spin 2134; Avg 2041). He shows tilt slurvey action and command low in the zone on his1/7 curveball (68-71). (Max spin 1853; Avg 1678).
