(64.9 mph bat speed average). (24.7 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is above average, exhibits a flat simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up lots of balls during the round. Aggressive line drive approach. Athletic from the outfield, he showed plus arm strength by making throws to the infield at velocities up to 90 mph;showed a clean exchange, athletic consistent feet, and soft sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.25. Defense: (OF) Soft sure hands, athletic consistent footwork, clean exchange. Athletic. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front.
Arm: 90 mph outfield velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.
Speed: 7.25 (60-yard).
New England Procase
6-foot, 189-pound, wiry strong athletic frame. A two-way player, hits from the left-side, even feet, loose hands at the shoulders. The swing is level to up, needs to stay taller and stronger on the back half, small collapse. Runs above average, ran 6.96 sixty-yard dash, and had a 86 mph tee exit. The arm strength is above average from the outfield, clocked at 86 mph, throws were on a line with carry, easy life coming out of the hand. Off the mound, this left-hander, works from the set position, has an athletic left, arm action is quick and clean on the backside, hides the baseball. The fastball touched 80-82 mph, with sink and run to it. The breaking ball has some slurvy break, clocked at 67-68 mph.
