9/29/19

6-foot-1, 190-pound, strong, physical athletic frame, well proportioned, strength throughout. A left-handed hitting outfielder, who worked off the mound as well. At the plate, wider set up, with loose hands. The hands and weight stay back, small leg kick, gaining ground with stride foot. The swing is level to up, looks to have flatten the path a bit. Drives the baseball with serious authority to both gaps. The swing creates lift, loft, with backspin. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 91 mph, took a solid round of batting practice with quality at bats during game play. Runs well, was clocked at 7.18 sixty-yard dash. Defensively,  a corner outfielder, routes, reads and jumps are above average. The arm was clocked at 83 mph, life and down hill carry. The arm works from a higher slot. Off the mound, two pitch mixer, pounded the zone with a fastball and slider. The delivery is simple, easy athletic lift, arm working from a higher slot. The fastball was clocked at 80-81 mph, 2-seamer shows to have good sink action. The breaking ball is more slider, reached 75 mph, chance to be an out pitch at some point. Look for him to be able to help out of the bullpen at some point. Will hit at the next level, will be good for someone.

ACADEMIC GAMES II
6-foot-1, 185-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. The frame has a chance to be physical and he has a very good skill set. The approach in the outfield is aggressive and online. Threw 83 mph out of a clean arm swing. Profiles as a corner outfielder. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 88 mph. The setup is wide in base, bottom half under control throughout. The path is slightly uphill and the hands work very well through the ball. Love the athleticsm and skill set.

6/27/18

6-foot, 175-pound left-handed hitting outfielder.  Ran a 7.16 sixty on the laser at the event. Threw 76 mph from the outfield, the athleticism is good and he moves well enough to play the the corner outfield position. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 86 mph, strong hands through the ball. The set up is wide in base, small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The hands work clean, the path being slightly uphill to contact. The frame project to fill out nicely, as he could be a physical left-handed hitting outfielder in the future.

Future Games
6-foot, 180-pound, average athletic frame. A left-handed hitter, shows good pop to the opposite gap. The swing is level to up, finishes with two hands at the shoulders, could get more back side drive, staying taller on the backside. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 88 mph and ran a 7.14 sixty, clocked at 4.5 down the line a dig on a ground ball to second. Collected a big double in game play. From the outfield, arm is clean on the back side, clocked at 81 mph, arm works out of a high ¾ slot. The footwork is advanced. Steps through, gains ground, gets good momentum moving towards his target. Throws were on target with downhill flight to them.  Interesting left-handed hitter.
