Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
5-foot-8, 155-pound, average athletic frame. The shoulders are squared off, strength and well proportioned throughout. A right-handed hitting two-way player, showed well on both sides of the field. At the plate, starts wider, front foot is slightly open. The hands are super loose and relaxed, bat starting in more of a vertical position, with some forward tilt to it. The swing is level to up, with life and whip out front on contact, approach is more middle of the field, took a solid round of batting practice. The tee exit velocity of 74 mph and ran a 7.25, sixty-yard dash, showing an athletic kick. Defensively, hands are soft, fields out front, keeps the feet moving, arm works out of a higher slot, clocked at 69 mph. Started the double correctly, moves well to the glove side. Off the mound, pounded a three pitch mix. The delivery was simple, repeated it with ease. The baseball comes out of a natural 3/4 slot, feel to both sides, clocked at 78 mph, with more in there. Both secondary pitches, thrown for strikes, feel for the hammer at 66 mph. The changeup had turn me over action to it, came out looking like a fastball clocked at 70-72 mph. Projects for me off the mound more with feel for throwing strikes. The arm looks like it can add velocity, my guess is he is still developing off the mound.
