6/08/19

6-foot-4, 170-pound, long lengthy, wide frame. A two way player, off the mound this right-hander gets good extension, delivery is simple and repeats it. The arm action is clean with average length to it, working out of a above ¾ slot. The fastball touched 74 mph, with down sinking action to it. The changeup is an above average pitch, turns it over clocked at 61 mph. The spinner was clocked at 61-63 mph. At the plate, wider even feet, down to level path, short to the baseball, looks to stay through it and rolls hands late. The tee exit velocity 85 mph, baseball comes off the bat with ease. Looks to keep the hands inside the baseball, driving it to all fields. Threw 73 mph across the diamond. The feet are athletic and quick around the bag,

Exit Velocity: 85 mph
Arm Velocity: 69 mph
Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.40

1/15/18

6-foot-3, 160-pound, larger, long, athletic frame, shoulders and back are wide, has plenty of room to fill out and put added weight on. A right-handed hitter, starts open, gets back to even with stride foot, has a simple controlled stride. The hands are set just above the shoulders, bat starts in a flat position, has some coil to the set up. The lower half is under control, stride is simple, keeps the weight on the backside. The swing is down to level to up, finishing with two hands at shoulder height. The hands stay inside the baseball, with the barrel being in the hitting zone a good amount of time. Look for the power to climb, swing mechanic is on time and hands work freely. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 81 mph, has strength and leverage to the swing. Ran the sixty-yard dash at 7.50. The glove is good around the bag, soft hands, easy picks on throws from across the infield. The feet work quick around the bag, shows good drop step moves. The arm was clocked at 68 mph, arm action is loose and clean. From the outfield, arm was clocked at 69 mph, working out of a high ¾ slot. Footwork was accurate during the transfer, gains ground and steps through hard. The throws were on or close to the bag. Defensively, looks to be solid at both spots. The arm strength needs to improve, a regimented throwing program and added strength should help velocity. Good looking young athlete.

Tee Exit Velocity: 81 mph
Arm Velocity: INF-68 mph mph, OF-69 mph
Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.50
