2/22/20

6-foot-3, 190-pound, strong, physical athletic frame, showing strength throughout, rounded shoulders, with room added weight. A left-handed pitcher, who is progressing nicely, has made a jump from the last event. The hands start and stay higher, stays over the backside, simple separation, stride foot lands slightly across the body. The frontside landing leg gets a tick soft at times, could be a bit more firm.  The arm action is down to up, working form a higher slot, close to the body. Pounded the baseball down in the zone, pitching downhill. The fastball reached 76 mph, true four seam ride to it. Threw the curveball for a strike, clocked at 58-60 mph, needs more fastball hand speed to it. The changeup showed fade action to it, clocked at 70 mph. Trending in the correct direction, big framed lefty, good follow.

10/05/19

6-foot-3, 175-pound left-handed pitcher. The fastball sits 73-74 mph, minimal arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch is big in shape, sitting 57-58 mph. The changeup is still developing, sat at 64-65 mph. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The arm works loose and free, high throwing the arm phase. The tracking of the front shoulder needs to be aligned and the glove pull needs to be minimized. The frame is long and thin, additional weight added to the frame will aid the process.

3/06/19

6-foot-2, 175-pound, longer, wider, rounded shoulders, good strength throughout, athletic build. A left-handed pitcher, works from the full motion, hands start and stay high, leg kick is clean, athletic with height to it. The direction is inline with a longer stride to it, separation is shorter, away from the frame. The backside has some small collapse to it as he rides out to release. The arm action is longer on the back working out of a ¾ to high ¾ slot, fastball was clocked at 73-75 mph, more 2-seam action. The breaking ball is a true curveball clocked at 60-62 mph, needs to be thrown with more fastball hand speed. The change up was clocked at 70-71 mph, comes out of his hand looking like a fastball, sold well, was the better of the two secondary offerings. Continued mechanical work will aid in a velocity jump, interesting follow.
