1/18/21

5-foot-7, 145-pound, smaller, stronger athletic frame, shows good strength for his size and class. A left-handed hitting outfielder, swung the bat well in batting practice. The stance is even, wider than shoulder width, hands are relaxed, set just below the shoulders. For timing, stride is simple, gains ground, hands are loaded, work down and back on foot strike. The swing works with minimal effort, producing line drives back up the middle, hard contact. The exit velocity was clocked at 78 mph, with a ton more in there as he continues to work on his craft. The approach is advanced for a 2024. An average runner,  ran a 4.50 on a dig down the line. Defensively, threw 69 mph from a high 3/4 slot, arm action is clean works with easy effort. All throws were on a line, look for a jump in velocity at some point. Love the feel at the plate, potential to hit at a higher level.

Exit Velocity: 78 mph

Arm Velocity: 69 mph
