Jack Sauer: OF/RHP, (2024) Hall, CT. 5-foot-10, 155-pound lean athletic frame. Projectable and capable at the plate, Sauer recorded an exit velocity of 90 mph. (69.9 mph bat speed average). (21.8 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a short stride. Had developing quick bat speed, uphill loose swing plane and high finish. He barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable athletic from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 80 mph; has a clean natural exchange, athletic developing feet, and developing soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.09. Projectable and capable on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose consistent arm action while showing developing arm speed. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. Has falling off shoulder with a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 77-78 mph; shows command arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 1832; Avg 1681).
