5-foot-9, 165-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher. The approach in the outfield is athletic and under control, throwing 81 mph during the outfield portion of the workout. At the plate, the exit velocity was 88 mph. The setup is even in base and the front foot gains ground as the swing is produced. The path is simple and flat to the baseball.  He showed the ability to spread the field during the hitting session.

Body: 5-foot-9, 165-pounds, stronger, solid, athletic frame, showing strength throughout.

Hit: A LHH, super balanced, loose hands at the shoulders, swing is short and compact, line drive level swing. The lower half is under control, inward stride. 

Power: The exit velocity was clocked at 85 mph, showing average power. 

Arm: The arm was clocked at 77 mph, shorter, clean arm swing, from a high ¾ slot. 

Defense: Moves well in the outfield, tracks the baseball with ease. 

ATH: A good runner, gets out of the box quickly, ran a 4.27 down the line.

Starts in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, displayed a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 74 mph; shows a natural exchange, sure hands, and consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

Jake Failla: OF/3B, (2027) St Joseph, CT. 5-foot-7, 145-pound athletic strong build. Above average in the box, Failla's best exit velocity was 80 mph. (61.9 mph bat speed average). (20.4 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic balanced stance with a smooth handsy load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is quick, shows a short upward swing plane and high finish. Barreled up multiple balls with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Raw in the infield, displayed a velocity of 65 mph; had developing footwork, a natural exchange, and soft hands. Athletic his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 68 mph; has soft hands, quick feet, and a clean exchange. Fielded the ball to the side with average movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a short arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.23.

Jake Failla: OF/3B, (2027) Shelton, CT. 5-foot-6, 145-pound athletic proportional build. Above average projectable during batting practice, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 80 mph. (64.0 mph bat speed average). (20.0 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a compact load, then used a short controlled stride. Had quick bat speed, short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap line drive approach. While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 66 mph. Solid in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 69 mph; shows a clean exchange, athletic quick feet, and soft hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a short quick arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Super quick and athletic, projection for him.
