Game Performance

Notes

Comments

7/22/20

5-foot-8, 133-pound, longer, thin athletic frame. Squared off shoulders, having plenty of room for added weight gains. A left-handed hitting middle infielder, top tool is the bat, shows the ability of squaring the baseball up consistently. At the plate, feet are even, slightly wider than shoulder width, hands are loose and relaxed, sitting just below the shoulders. The swing is level through the zone, smooth, working with little effort, could finish more and higher, staying through it. The approach is more line drives to the middle of the field. Collected multiple hits in game play, showing hard contact, had an exit velocity of 74 mph. Defensively, shows soft controlled prep steps, gets around the baseball, momentum moving towards target. The glove is soft out front, clean transfer with easy arm action. The arm was clocked at 61 mph. Will to add strength to all parts of his game, mechanically is sound, needs overall strength.

Exit Velocity: 74 mph

Arm Velocity: 61 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 8.25

Junior Future Games Report:

A left-handed hitting middle infielder,  at the plate, simple set up, even feet at shoulder width. The hands are loose with pre-pitch movement to them, The swing path is level through the zone, rolls hands early, could stay through it a tick longer. Lower half needs to be a bit more balanced, gets on the heels at times. Defensively, showed solid actions and movements for his age, moved well to both sides. The arm action was clean working from a 3/4 slot.
