5-foot-9, 185-pound, average athletic frame. Shows to be athletic, actions and movements are smooth. A right-handed hitter, the stance is even, feet are shoulder width apart, the hands are super loose with the bat having tilt to it in the set up. The swing path is down to level to up, stays through the baseball well, rolls the hands late, approach is middle of the field to opposite. The tee exit velocity was 76 mph, with a time down the line at 5.0. Defensively, the hands are very soft and work well with his feet, which move well and continue to move throughout. The arm action is clean and works out of a natural ¾ slot, clocked at 73 mph, has more in the tank as he gets stronger. The double play starts were clean and crisp from third base. Off the mound, the delivery has tempo and timing to it, hands start low and work up with leg raise, has a small coil to it. The arm action is clean on the backside, it's shorter, ball comes out of ¾ to lower ¾ slot, creates very good movement to the arm side. The fastball was clocked at 75-76 mph, with more in there. The breaking shows correct spin and shape to it, clocked at 64 mph. The changeup was thrown for strikes at 68-69 mph. Times to the plate were at 1.27. Projects for me more off the mound.
