Kevin Johnson: LHP/OF, (2026) Coventry, CT. 6-foot, 150-pound athletic lean build. Projectable on the mound, had a short compact arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed. Stretch only up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed strong balance point and in line shoulders. Lands square with recoil finish. Sat with his fastball at 77-79 mph; has sinking swing and miss action and both sides of the plate control with tight movement. (Max spin 2088; Avg 2028). Threw his 1/7 curveball (64-65) with glove side control and slurvey action. (Max spin 1937; Avg 1862). His changeup (69-70) had fading swing and miss action and arm side control. Throws a 2/8 slider (66-67) that shows late hard action and glove side command. (Max spin 1924; Avg 1924). High ceiling.
