5-foot-8, 145-pound athletic proportional frame. Solid on the mound, showed some arm speed, also used a short compact arm action with an over-the-top arm angle. Tall-and-fall slow-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Has a tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Changeup (61-64 mph). Threw his fastball 65-68 mph; had running action and both sides of the plate command. (Max spin 1866; Avg 1611). Throws a 11/5 curveball that shows early slurvey action and glove side control. (Max spin 1629; Avg 1336). Pounded the zone with a two-pitch mix.
5-foot-8, 125-pound, smaller, thin athletic frame. Showing plenty of room for added strength. A left-handed pitcher, working from the set position. The hands start lower, work up with smooth leg raise, weight staying over backside, glides down mound, landing inline to the plate. The arm action is longer on the backside, working from a higher slot. The follow through gets tied in a bit, could get back leg out and around more, staying more balanced and back on foot strike. The fastball was located to both sides, clocked at 61 mph. The breaking ball bigger in shape, clocked at 53-55 mph, showed feel for a change up. Will need to add overall strength and arm speed over time.
