Lachlan Ellis: LHP/OF, (2024) out of Joel Barlow High School, CT. is a projectable 6-foot-1, 180-pound left handed pitching prospect. On the mound, Ellis worked out of a quick, high ¾ arm slot that produced a fastball that sat 83-84 mph (Max spin 2216; Avg 2102) with late sink. His delivery is simple, easy and in line with home plate. He separates well, gets to a good balance point and lands square with a clean finish. He also threw a tight slider (67-70 mph).
