Lucas Deshefy: RHP/OF, (2025) Guilford, CT. 5-foot-11, 185-pound solid frame. Capable during batting practice, Deshefy clocked an exit velocity of 89 mph. Began in a balanced open stance with a small load, then used a closed small stride. Has an uphill swing plane, developing bat speed and high finish. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Capable while in the infield, made throws up to 80 mph; has developing hands, choppy feet, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Had consistent accuracy to the base and a high ¾ slot. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 8.13. Capable on the mound, showing developing arm speed he had a consistent arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. During his delivery,  balance point is tall with on- line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 77-78 mph; has control arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 2025; Avg 1966). His curveball (64-65) showed glove side around the zone control and sweeping action. (Max spin 2203; Avg 2056). Has deceiving action and arm side command on his splitter (67-68). 

5-foot-10, 167-pound athletic strong build. Above average at the plate, Deshefy's best exit velocity was 87 mph. (63.7 mph bat speed average). (20.3 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic open stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled leg kick. Has a loose upward swing plane, electric bat speed and high finish. Had tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 79 mph. Solid In the outfield, showed a clean exchange, athletic feet, and raw hands. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Using a long loose arm action, showed consistent accuracy to the base from a ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 8.07. Projectable on the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a longer arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows easy effort. In line shoulders with an strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 78-80 mph; shows sinking action and arm side command. (Max spin 2380; Avg 2204). Had swing and miss late action and glove side command on his 1/7 curveball (67-70). (Max spin 2671; Avg 2508). Has fading action and arm side control on his changeup (73-75).

Lucas Deshefy: RHP/OF, (2025) out of Guilford, CT. is a 5-foot-10, 155-pound two-way prospect. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 83 MPH. he started in a wide, balanced stance with relaxed hands. A slow load and a controlled toe tap trigger a swing that takes an uphill path through the hitting zone. Deshefy also showed the ability to use the whole field and remain balanced. In the infield, he was 75MPH across the diamond, while showing sure hands, a clean exchange, and smooth feet. In the 60-yard dash, Deshefy recorded a time of 8.0. On the mound, he had a loose, high ¾ arm slot that produced a fastball that sat 74-77 MPH (Max spin 2278; Avg 2135) with some arm side run. His delivery shows good tempo,  balance and direction. Deshefy also featured a sweeping curveball (67-68 MPH) (Max spin 2305; Avg 2208) and a fading changeup (68-69 MPH).

Starts in an athletic balanced stance with a smooth compact load, then uses a short controlled stride. Bat speed is electric, exhibits a short upward swing plane and high good extension on his finish. In his round he found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach.Projectable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 70 mph; had a clean natural exchange, athletic in control footwork, and raw developing hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a ¾ slot with a long loose arm action. Clocked a time of 8.21 in the 60-yard dash. Above average advanced on the mound, had a long loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with quick above average arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses easy effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic clean finish. Sat with his fastball at 72-75 mph; has sinking hard action and command down in the zone both sides of the plate with hard movement. His 11/5 curveball (63-64) shows glove side command and slurvey late action. Has fading swing and miss action and arm side command on his changeup (63-64).

5-foot-8, 130-pound, longer lean athletic frame for a 2025, showing advanced strength for his age, body and movements work with minimal effort. A right-handed pitcher, works off of tempo and timing to the delivery. The hands are higher in the gather, gets loaded and stays over the backside. Building momentum down the mound, stride is inline, gets out front on release, frontside pulls off at times. The arm action is long and clean on the backside, working out of a higher 3/4 slot. The fastball was located to both sides, gets through the catcher, reached 70 mph, look for a major climb at some point. The breaking ball is a legit out pitch for his age, spin rate of up ver 2200, is advanced. Showed feel for a change as well. Look for him to be one of the better arms in the state for the class of 2025.
