Began in a balanced strong stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is explosive, shows a short uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Advanced in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 79 mph; has consistent hands, a clean exchange, and quick feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Behind the plate, throw downs to second were maxed at 72 mph; had a clean fluid transfer, consistent footwork, and next level hands. he had a pop time of 2.06-2.21. Some flexibility and calm setup. Used a short quick arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag.
s a young 5-foot-6, 145-pound prospect. During batting practice, Lefort had a max exit velocity of 72 mph. (61.3 mph bat speed average). (20.0 mph hand speed average). LeFort hits out of a balanced, athletic stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. A short stride triggers a simple, flat swing that stays on plane through his finish. In the infield, LeFort was up to 71 mph on his throws across the diamond, while also showing he had consistent smooth footwork, a clean exchange, and sure hands. Behind the plate, his throw downs reached a velocity of 65 mph with a pop time range of 2.33-2.44. His initial setup is clean.
